The Franco-Prussian War of 1870 is a new period we just recently started playing. Having bought about 2 Corps worth each of French and Prussian armies from Irregular Miniatures 18 monyth ago, the painstaking process of painting and basing them started over a year ago and we were just about ready to go with our first game as a demonstration game at the IPMS National Championship.

Using Fire & Fury Francese (variation on the ACW Fire & Fury ruleset), and 15mm figures and terrain, we discovered a very realistic and exciting simulation of 19th century warfare in Europe.
